“Success is not final, failure is not fatal. It is the courage to continue that counts.”
-Sir Winston Churchill
This is one of my favorite quotes! Having served 30 years in the military as both a non-commissioned and commissioned officer, I have experienced numerous successes and failures. It’s through those failures I’ve shaped my path to success. Throughout my career, I’ve had multiple leadership opportunities and often grappled with imposter syndrome, like so many do! Despite my achievements and experience, those feelings occasionally overshadowed my confidence. However, I committed myself to overcoming these doubts, getting back to the basics, and embracing my capabilities. My confidence and “courage to continue” is rooted in a deep commitment to fostering growth, achievement, and the success of those around me!
